The Z-type elevator is an efficient and continuous conveying equipment specially designed for vertical transportation of powdery, granular and small-sized materials. Its distinctive feature is that the feed inlet and the discharge outlet are respectively located at the bottom and the top of the equipment and are distributed horizontally in opposite directions. The overall structure is compact and arranged in a "Z" shape. This equipment effectively prevents dust from spilling out through its fully enclosed box structure and protects the materials from contamination. It also has the advantages of small floor area, large lifting height, smooth operation with low noise, and easy maintenance. It is widely used in the production processes of the food, chemical and building materials industries.

Working principle

The working principle of the Z-type elevator is to use the driving device to drive the traction chain and the material hopper fixed on it to move in a continuous circular motion. The materials are automatically loaded into the hopper through the bottom feed port and then rise vertically to the top. When the hopper makes a circular motion around the head pulley, the materials are automatically thrown out under the combined action of centrifugal force and gravity and fall into the discharge port. The empty hopper then descends and returns to the bottom to receive new materials, thus achieving a continuous, closed and efficient vertical transportation of materials from lower to higher positions.
