The screw conveyor is a widely used conveying equipment, which is divided into two types:

horizontal screw conveyor and vertical screw conveyor. It is used for conveying loose

materials such as powders, granules, and small lumps. The design with small diameter, high

speed, and variable pitch can ensure the material can be fed more smoothly, quickly, and

evenly, with stable operation and high conveying efficiency. The discharge end is equipped

with a cleaning device, the machine has low noise and strong adaptability, and the

arrangement of the inlet and outlet positions is flexible. The conveying distance varies

depending on the model, generally ranging 2 meters to 70 meters. It has good sealing

performance, low noise for the whole machine, and can also ensure environmental hygiene

and prevent the conveyed from being polluted. The screw conveyor is widely used in

The rotating screw blades push the material to be conveyed, and the force that prevents the

material from rotating with the screw conveyor blades is the material own weight and the

frictional resistance between the screw conveyor housing and the material. The blade

surface type depends on the material being conveyed, with options including solid surface,

belt surface type, and blade surface type. The screw conveyor's screw shaft has a thrust

bearing at the end of the material movement direction to accommodate the axial force from

the material. When the machine length is longer, intermediate hanging bearings should be

added.

3.Compared with other conveying, the screw conveyor has the advantages of simple structure,

small cross-sectional dimensions, good sealing performance, ability to load and unload at

multiple points in the middle, and safe operation, and low manufacturing cost. Its disadvantages

are severe wear of parts, low conveying capacity, high power consumption, and the material is

easily broken during.
