Working principle
The working principle of the screw conveyor is as follows:
1. Material feeding: Materials enter from the feeding port of the conveyor. The feed port can be a funnel, storage tank or other material supply device that directly loads materials.
2. Rotating screw: Driven by an electric motor or other driving device, the screw begins to rotate. The direction of rotation of the helical screw can be to push material forward or to discharge material backward, depending on the application requirements.
3. Material conveying: The rotating spiral screw pushes the material from the feed port to the discharge port. The material is pushed forward along the spiral groove of the spiral screw under the action of the spiral blades of the spiral screw. Application
Screw conveyor according to the transmission form is divided into shaft screw conveyor and shaftless screw conveyor.
