The horizontal screw mixer is an advanced mixing device widely used in various industries

The working principle of the screw ribbon mixer is that various components of the material

are fed into the mixer according to the calculated proportions based on recipe. The

material is mixed under the push of the ribbon-shaped spiral blades. The outer screw

ribbon pushes the material from one end to the other, while the screw ribbon moves the

material in the opposite direction. The inner layer of material is pushed to one side and

then flips from inside out, while the outer layer of is pushed to the other side and then flips

from outside in. During the convection process, the two streams of material interpenetrate

and mix with each, and then mix again during the flipping process on both sides.

This process is repeated multiple times, and finally, the well-mixed material is discharged

from the door through the material control mechanism.
